The ><LAB is a repository of experimental scripts and applications I have written over the years (mostly web development, but also some software). Not everything here has a description or is well-documented. Some of these are not really useable as-is, and some may not even be practical to anyone but myself. Some may not be standards-compliant, and some may be poorly contrived. The point of this repository is just to make the code available for anyone who can get any use from it, either by modification or analysis of the source code.
I do not offer support for any of this but, if you are desperate for help, you can always . Just note that I have higher priorities and may not get back to you quickly, if at all, so don't forget your ol' friend Google ;)

 XLab was created by Micah Atwell. I'm a web developer, software engineer, musician, and handcrafter. I've been mucking with code since 1997 when a friend trained me to help read and debug assembly language (although I did dabble with BASIC in the mid '80s). As fun as that was, I'm a creator and found a better niche in web design and development, which I did for a living for several years. I still do some professional work as a member of Alla Breve Web Design and have been getting back into software development.

| Mahjong I have another version of this authored by someone else but didn't like having to go into the options to turn off the sounds every time, so I wrote my own version. This does have a sound, though it only plays at the end of the game. The tiles are not standard mahjong designs, rather I just threw my own together real quick. The timer is only there because I usually play the game while cooking a pizza and it helps me keep track of, well, time. I've included the .fla and .as file with the zip so you can do your own mods if you want (authored in Flash Pro 8) or just examine the source (it's not the most optimized, this was just a quick project). If you just want to play the game, double click the .swf file. |
